After dinner and dessert, guests will follow the procession of Scottish Highland Dancers from the Shot of Scotch Dance Troupe to join the Ball and continue the festivities.

Upgrade your Gala experience to join a limited group of VIPs who will experience an exclusive whisky tasting in the Game Room of the DTA.

Ball Tickets

8:30pm – 1:00am

The May Ball will take over The Down Town Association’s historic clubhouse as we drink and dance the night away throughout the wood paneled labyrinth of one of the oldest private clubs in New York City. Guests will enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres and premium open bars located throughout the club. Create and save ‘live moments’ from The May Ball in our custom GIF Booth and have the opportunity to outbid the dinner guests in our silent auction.

We are excited for the return of the Ceilidh which will be led by the Shot of Scotch Dancers and accompanied by a live traditional Scottish band in the Wainright Room. The Pine Street Room of The Down Town Association will be entirely transformed like it’s never been before as Max August (Class of 2012) spins the night away as our DJ with music so good, it will be hard to leave the dance floor. Guests will be treated to a special midnight surprise performance that will certainly reignite some memories of St Andrews’ most famous parties.

Tea and coffee will be served in the quieter areas of the club, allowing you to relax with your fellow guests in the Reading Room.
