The Scottish Ball is the New York Caledonian Club's annual gala.

Program

7:00 pm: Whisky Tasting and Signing of Dance Cards
7:45 pm: Dashing White Sergeant, Eightsome Reel, Gay Gordons, Reel of the 51st Division with music by The Abby Newton Band
9:00 pm: Dinner by The Good Cateress from Wight Fox Food, and Raffle Prize Drawing (Raffle tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 and may be purchased at the Ball).
10:00 pm: Hamilton House, Duke of Perth, Waltz, Reel of the 51st Division, Inverness Country Dance, Gallop
12:00 AM: Auld Lang Syne and Carriages. Dress Ladies: Long Gowns (Tartan Sashes Optional) Gentlemen: Highland Dress or Black Tie

Dance Practice Sessions

Dance practice sessions are held at the Abigail Adams Smith Ballroom, 417 East 61st Street. Drinks and nibbles provided. If you have not done Scottish country dancing before, we strongly recommend that you attend the practices held before the Ball.
